Etihad Airways is expanding capacity across five routes, adding flights to Brussels and Kraków, confirming Dhaka as a year-round destination, and stretching seasonal services to Zanzibar and Palma de Mallorca further into the calendar.

The Abu Dhabi–Dhaka service, which launched on June 26 with a sold-out inaugural flight, has been confirmed as a permanent year-round route. It runs four times a week on the Boeing 777, configured with 28 Business seats and 374 in Economy, and carries belly-hold cargo supporting trade between the UAE and Bangladesh in addition to serving the large Bangladeshi community across the country.

The seasonal Zanzibar service has been extended to March 31, 2027, well past its original September end date. The Abu Dhabi–Palma de Mallorca service, operated by the A321LR, now runs through to October18, 2026, giving travellers a longer window on the Balearic island. Both extensions reflect what the airline describes as sustained leisure demand.

On the European frequency side, Abu Dhabi–Kraków moves from three to four flights a week from July 27, 2026, with the A321LR connecting Abu Dhabi to southern Poland’s medieval centre. The biggest frequency jump comes on the Brussels route: from December 15, 2026, Etihad will operate 11 weekly services between Abu Dhabi and the Belgian capital, up from seven, with the four additional flights operated on the three-cabin A321LR offering First, Business and Economy.

“The response from our guests has exceeded our expectations, with strong demand across very different markets, from Brussels and Dhaka to Kraków, Zanzibar and Palma, and we’re responding by adding capacity where demand is strongest. These additional flights and extended seasonal services are bringing more visitors to Abu Dhabi while strengthening connections across our growing global network,” Arik De, Etihad Airways Chief Revenue & Commercial Officer said in a statement.
