Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC26) returns June 8–12, with the company billing AI advancements and new software tools as the centrepiece of this year’s event.
The keynote begins at 10 a.m. PDT on June 8 at Apple Park in Cupertino, where Apple will host more than 1,000 developers, designers, and students in person.
The presentation will stream live on apple.com, the Apple TV app, and Apple’s YouTube channel. A Platforms State of the Union session follows at 1 p.m. PDT the same day, going deeper on new APIs and developer tools.
Over the five days, developers can access more than 100 new video sessions covering tools, design, and technologies across Apple platforms. Group Labs, live Q&A sessions hosted by Apple engineers and designers, will run Tuesday through Friday, covering topics including Apple Intelligence, machine learning, graphics, and games. Apple experts will also field questions on the Apple Developer Forums throughout the week.
The Apple Design Awards announced 36 finalists across six categories: Delight and Fun, Inclusivity, Innovation, Interaction, Social Impact, and Visuals and Graphics. Winners will be named in the coming weeks.
On the education front, the Swift Student Challenge this year recognised 350 winners. Of those, 50 Distinguished Winners have been invited to Cupertino for a three-day experience during WWDC week.
All conference sessions will be available via the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel.
