Three of Yas Island’s main visitor destinations have adopted a fully digital parking system, removing barriers, tickets, and manual payment from the process entirely.

The rollout, which began on July 6, 2026, covers Yas Marina, Yas Bay Waterfront, and West Yas Plaza.

It was built in partnership with PARKONIC, a UAE-based smart parking solutions company. The system uses licence plate recognition to track entry and exit automatically, and is integrated with Salik for cashless payment upon departure.

Tariff structures vary by location. At both Yas Bay Waterfront and Yas Marina, the first hour costs AED 20, with each subsequent hour charged at AED 10.

Diners at either destination receive up to three hours of complimentary parking, validated at participating outlets. Gym and beach users at Yas Bay can claim up to six hours free per day, with the same benefit available to gym users at Yas Marina, subject to outlet validation.

West Yas Plaza applies a different structure aimed at shorter visits: parking is free for the first hour, then AED 10 for each hour after that.

The system does not require a separate app or physical ticket. Drivers enter and exit without stopping, with charges calculated against the registered plate and settled through Salik automatically.
