The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced the full resumption of air navigation operations across the UAE, bringing an end to a period of restrictions that had been placed on the country’s airspace.
The GCAA said the decision to lift the measures followed “a comprehensive evaluation of operational and security conditions” carried out in coordination with relevant authorities.
The authority did not specify the nature of the events that led to the introduction of the restrictions, describing them only as “precautionary.” The lifting of the measures follows the conclusion of an evaluation process involving coordination across multiple agencies and authorities.

Despite the return to normal operations, the GCAA confirmed that monitoring of UAE airspace has not ceased. The authority said “continuous real-time monitoring remains in place” to maintain aviation safety standards.
The GCAA also confirmed the readiness of its technical and operational teams to respond to any developments that may arise.
In its announcement, the GCAA expressed appreciation for the response of both passengers and airlines during the period in which the restrictions were in force, citing their “cooperation throughout the precautionary period.”
The GCAA has advised members of the public to continue sourcing information from official channels.
