A Saudi-owned vessel was struck in the Red Sea, triggering a fire at its bow, the Saudi Transport General Authority confirmed. All crew members are safe, and relevant authorities have moved to secure the ship and protect the surrounding marine environment.
The targeted vessel, named ENCELIA, is owned by a Saudi company. The Saudi Press Agency reported the TGA’s statement.
“These attacks constitute a violation of international laws and conventions that guarantee the safety of commercial vessels and their crews,” a TGA official said.
