Oil prices edged higher on Tuesday, partially recovering from steep losses in the prior session.
Brent crude futures rose 62 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to $84.39 per barrel at 00:55 GMT, having shed 7 per cent in the previous session to their lowest level in three weeks. West Texas Intermediate climbed 61 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to $80.95 per barrel, after falling more than 5 per cent to a roughly one-week low.
