Park Hyatt has opened its first branded residences in the United Kingdom, with 103 turnkey apartments above its Nine Elms hotel now available through London property consultancy Knightcrest.
The development, called Park Hyatt London River Thames Residences, sits above what will be London’s first Park Hyatt hotel on the River Thames. Prices start at £1.795 million, with three-bedroom homes from £3.55 million, excluding furnishings. All units are described as ready to move in.
The launch was marked this week by the unveiling of two show apartments on Level 26, both designed by South African interior designer Christian Bense.
His brief was to create homes that feel layered and collected rather than formally staged. Drawing on mid-century references across the 1950s to 1970s, the interiors use a palette of steel blues, soft greys, warm timbers, and brass, with a mix of bespoke pieces from British makers including Galvin Brothers, Lorfords Contemporary, and Atelier 278.
The three-bedroom apartment features a sculptural entry table co-designed by Bense and Atelier 278, a wool and art silk rug by Amy Kent, and a vintage Danish oak cabinet.
Bedrooms shift in character: the principal room uses a peach palette and reupholstered vintage furniture; the second plays richer blues against caramel tones; the third doubles as a study, with a bespoke timber desk built into custom bookcase joinery by London Cabinet Makers.
“Designing the residences at Park Hyatt has been an exciting opportunity to create homes that feel both elevated and genuinely liveable. The architecture, the extraordinary views across London and the connection to the River Thames provided a natural starting point for the design, but it was important to me that the interiors never felt defined by the building alone. We have focused on creating spaces that are warm, layered and timeless, balancing contemporary detailing with a sense of comfort and familiarity. Every material, finish and piece of furniture has been carefully considered to create a home that feels sophisticated without being overly formal. Ultimately, I wanted these residences to feel like somewhere you would genuinely want to live – a calm, considered retreat above the energy of London,” Christian Bense, Founder at Christian Bense Studio said in a statement.
Residents will have access to a private entrance and lobby separate from the hotel, a residents’ lounge on Level 19, and a 24-hour concierge. Hotel amenities, including a 20-metre indoor pool, spa, and fitness centre, will be available to owners on a preferential basis.
Knightcrest is backed by London developer Valouran. Further show apartments by additional designers are expected over the next six months, with pricing and designer line-up to be confirmed.
