The Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum will open on 23 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Organised by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), the annual forum brings together 1,000 government and private sector leaders, policymakers, global experts and academics.
Its sessions cover the future of government institutions, urban management, new economic frontiers and the role of technology in reshaping public-sector operations.
The programme includes panel discussions, workshops and three Strategic Leadership Majlis sessions: a Future Economy Majlis on growth and innovation, a Future Cities Leadership Majlis on urban management and smart infrastructure, and a New Global Narrative Majlis focused on Dubai’s positioning across economic, media, knowledge and humanitarian spheres.
The Forum will also present the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Medal, the highest accolade within the Government of Dubai. Launched at last year’s edition by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, the medal goes to the Director General who does most to develop and empower second-tier leaders across government entities. The inaugural edition drew participation from 32 Dubai government bodies.
MBRCLD will also sign memoranda of understanding with several global universities during the Forum to launch leadership research and commission specialised studies documenting Dubai’s institutional transformation.

“The Forum reflects Dubai’s ongoing commitment to advancing its leadership and management ecosystem by addressing key trends shaping the future of leadership, management transformations and the role of technology and AI in reshaping work models. It showcases global best practices and pioneering experiences to enhance institutions’ readiness to adapt to rapid global changes, and to strengthen their capacity for development and innovation,” Al Gergawi added.
A separate event during the forum will connect MBRCLD alumni with senior government leaders across Dubai, with the aim of bridging current leadership and emerging national talent.
