Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, held an Eid Al Adha reception at Zabeel Palace on Thursday, receiving a wide gathering of well-wishers marking the occasion.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, was present alongside Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid. The reception was also attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Olympic Committee, Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Among those offering congratulations were sheikhs, ministers, heads of government departments and institutions, business leaders, senior civilian and military officials, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE, and Emirati citizens who came to greet Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid on the occasion.
Those present extended prayers for Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s continued health and wellbeing, and for the UAE to remain a nation of security and prosperity.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, in return, expressed his own wishes, calling on God to protect the UAE under the leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and to set the country on a path of sustained growth toward a more prosperous future. He extended his greetings to the nation, its people, and all who live on its soil, as well as to the broader Arab and Islamic world.
