Mohamed Alabbar, the Emirati businessman and founder of Emaar Properties, shared a video on Instagram from Damascus in which he praised the Syrian capital’s history and expressed confidence in its future.
“Damascus has a rich history, and the future, God willing, will bring goodness and blessings,” Alabbar said in the video.
He accompanied the post with a caption noting he was in the city with Khaled Al Khalidi, identifying him as “dear brother.”
