Misk Foundation has announced that the Misk Global Forum will not take place in 2026, citing organisational and logistical challenges that could affect the event’s experience and impact.
In a statement issued on Monday, the foundation said the decision followed an assessment of challenges surrounding this year’s edition as it continues to develop its approach to empowering young people and providing opportunities for learning, collaboration and development.
“As a result, the decision has been made not to hold the Misk Global Forum in 2026,” the foundation said.
Despite the cancellation of the 2026 forum, Misk Foundation said its commitment to empowering young people and creating opportunities for learning, collaboration and development remains unchanged.
The foundation confirmed that young people would continue to have access to its programmes and initiatives throughout the year.
It encouraged them to explore opportunities through the Misk Hub platform, which provides access to the foundation’s programmes and initiatives.
The Misk Global Forum serves as a platform that brings together young people, leaders and innovators from around the world to exchange ideas, share experiences and explore opportunities for collaboration.
The forum provides a space for participants to engage with one another, discuss ideas and establish connections.
