The Dubai Films and Games Commission (DFGC) and Ubisoft held a midnight launch event in Dubai for Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, a full remake of the 2013 title rebuilt on the latest version of Ubisoft’s Anvil Engine.

The event, staged ahead of the game’s global release, was the DFGC’s first public activation since the body was established under the Dubai Media Council.

The launch brought together gaming fans, cosplayers and content creators, with dedicated gameplay areas, franchise trivia and fan experiences designed around the Assassin’s Creed universe.

The original Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag attracted more than 34 million players in the 13 years since its initial release. The remake, developed by Ubisoft Singapore with involvement from members of the original team, had already accumulated more than one million wishlists across platforms before its global launch. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox and PC.
