Borouge PLC has approved an interim dividend of AED 2.41 billion, equivalent to $656 million or 8.1 fils per share, covering the first half of 2026.
The company reaffirmed a full-year dividend target of 16.2 fils per share for 2026, with the remaining 8.1 fils per share expected to be paid in the second quarter of 2027.
Since its IPO in June 2022, Borouge PLC has returned a cumulative AED 18 billion, or $4.9 billion, to shareholders.
Hazeem Sultan Al Suwaidi, Chief Executive of Borouge PLC, said the board’s approval of the interim dividend reflects the company’s financial strength, disciplined operational execution, and sustained ability to generate returns. “Supported by our specialised product portfolio, strong pricing premiums, and a focus on cost efficiency, Borouge continues to reinforce its leading position in the sector, enabling sustainable value creation for shareholders as we transition into the next phase of growth within Borouge International Group,” he said.
That transition was formalised on 30 March 2026, when Borouge International was established, bringing together Borouge PLC and other assets into a combined group that ranks as the fourth-largest polyolefins producer in the world by installed capacity. Borouge PLC is now part of that broader group, positioning it to draw on a wider geographic footprint, advanced technologies, and a more diversified product range.
