Careem and The Giving Movement have launched a limited-edition collaboration in support of Lebanon, with every dirham of profit from the product going directly to the World Food Programme for relief work on the ground.
The item at the centre of the campaign is a t-shirt bearing Lebanon’s cedar tree, designed and manufactured in the UAE from sustainable fabrics. It is available exclusively through the Careem app in limited quantities. The collaboration falls under Seeds For Lebanon, Careem’s initiative aimed at channelling everyday app activity into humanitarian relief.
The cedar is a deliberate choice: a national symbol associated with Lebanon’s endurance through successive crises.
“At Careem, we feel a deep sense of responsibility towards the region. For Seeds For Lebanon, we are proud to partner with a fellow homegrown brand that shares our values and wants to create meaningful change through consistent, everyday actions,” Mudassir Sheikha, CEO and Co-founder of Careem said in a statement.
“Our goal has always been to prove that sustainable fashion can drive real-world impact. Produced locally in the UAE from sustainable fabrics, these tees give our community a wearable symbol of humanitarian support and a direct way to stand with Lebanon alongside Careem,” Rania Masri, CEO of The Giving Movement added.
Seeds For Lebanon follows Careem’s earlier Seeds For Gaza campaign. The company said it facilitated more than USD 700,000 in donations across the region in 2025, directed at emergency relief, education, and community programmes.
