Majid Al Futtaim has awarded a AED 2 billion construction contract to Engineering Contracting Company L.L.C. (ECC) for the Capria East and Capria West phases of Ghaf Woods, including Maravelle Residences. The appointment is the most significant construction milestone announced to date for the development, which the company bills as Dubai’s first forest living community.

Capria East and West will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments alongside duplex units. The project is designed around dense tree planting, wellness amenities and energy-efficient architecture, drawing on the aesthetic of the UAE’s native Ghaf tree. Ghaf Woods spans 11 clusters in total.

ECC has operated in the UAE since 1975 and has built across the Gulf over the past five decades.
