Of 209 drones launched, 195 were destroyed, though 14 came down within UAE territory and waters, causing some damage. Debris from intercepted projectiles also caused minor damage to civilian properties in scattered areas.

Authorities moved swiftly to secure affected sites and ensure the safety of residents, and the Ministry said its forces remain on high alert. The public was urged to rely only on official sources and not to spread unverified information.
The United States and Israel carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Iran on Saturday, with Iranian media reporting a death toll exceeding 200 people.
President Donald Trump defended the operation in a video statement, saying “Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime, a vicious group of very hard, terrible people.”
“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead. This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS. He was unable to avoid our Intelligence and Highly Sophisticated Tracking Systems and, working closely with Israel, there was not a thing he, or the other leaders that have been killed along with him, could do. This is the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their Country. We are hearing that many of their IRGC, Military, and other Security and Police Forces, no longer want to fight, and are looking for Immunity from us. As I said last night, “Now they can have Immunity, later they only get Death!” Hopefully, the IRGC and Police will peacefully merge with the Iranian Patriots, and work together as a unit to bring back the Country to the Greatness it deserves. That process should soon be starting in that, not only the death of Khamenei but the Country has been, in only one day, very much destroyed and, even, obliterated. The heavy and pinpoint bombing, however, will continue, uninterrupted throughout the week or, as long as necessary to achieve our objective of PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Trump said in a post Truth Social.
When asked about reports – citing Israeli sources – that Supreme Leader Khamenei had been killed in the strikes, Trump told NBC News, “We feel that is a correct story.”
Iran’s Foreign Ministry, however, disputed this, with spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei telling MSNOW that both Khamenei and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian are “safe and sound.”
Iranian state-linked news outlets Tasnim and Mehr are pushing back against reports of Khamenei’s death, claiming the Supreme Leader remains active and in command.
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly suggested that Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei may be dead, stating that “all indications” point to the leader being gone, though he stopped short of a direct confirmation.
His remarks came after US-Israeli airstrikes reportedly destroyed Khamenei’s compound in Tehran, and the leader has been silent since the strikes began. Satellite images appear to confirm significant damage to the facility.
