Miral is staging a community run at Yas Bay Waterfront on Yas Island on Sunday, October 25, 2026, with proceeds going towards the conservation of the Arabian Sand Cat, a species listed as endangered on the Abu Dhabi Red List of Species.
The Run for Impact: Saving the Arabian Sand Cat event is open to all ages and fitness levels, with participants choosing between 3km, 5km, and 10km distances. Registration costs AED 50, with proceeds channelled directly into research and conservation efforts under IMPACT by Miral, the company’s social and environmental impact platform.
Miral is running the event in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Al Ain Zoo, EllisDon, and ZUBLIN Construction LLC. Al Ain Zoo will host educational activities from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, including themed face painting, wildlife trivia with prizes, and photo opportunities. An awards ceremony, with theme park tickets for winners, is scheduled for 9:00 am.
Race bib collection begins at 5:30 am on the day. The 10km race starts at 6:45 am, the 5km at 7:00 am, and the 3km at 7:15 am. Exclusive event merchandise will also be available on site.
