Air Arabia will begin daily non-stop service between Sharjah and Düsseldorf from 16 December 2026, adding a third German city to its network alongside Munich and Frankfurt.
The route will be operated on the Airbus A320neo. The airline said the aircraft offers improved fuel efficiency alongside a modern cabin.
“The launch of our new daily service to Düsseldorf marks another important milestone in the expansion of our European network and further strengthens connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and Germany. With three destinations now served non-stop from Sharjah, we continue to enhance connectivity between the UAE and Germany while offering our customers greater choice, convenience, and affordable travel. Our focus remains on expanding our network and delivering reliable, value-driven travel,” Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia said in a statement.

The new daily service to Sharjah further strengthens these links. Travellers from North Rhine-Westphalia and neighbouring regions in the Netherlands will also benefit from Air Arabia’s extensive network across the Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia,” Lars Redeligx, CEO of Düsseldorf Airport added.
Air Arabia describes itself as the first and largest budget carrier operator in the MENA region.
