Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has gone live on du Tech’s National Hypercloud, completing a migration of its core operating systems onto an Oracle Alloy-based sovereign cloud platform hosted entirely within the UAE. The deployment, which follows an MoU signed at GITEX Global 2025, is the first full-scale cloud modernisation of this kind in the UAE transport sector, according to the two companies.
The platform runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and provides DTC with high-speed compute, autonomous databases, and AI-ready infrastructure. Both organisations say the move cuts operational costs and technical complexity while meeting the UAE’s Cloud First mandate and keeping all data onshore — the latter being a key distinction from global hyperscaler alternatives.

The go-live was marked at an event at du’s headquarters in Dubai, attended by senior leadership from both organisations. Du Tech will provide ongoing technical support as DTC expands its digital mobility services.
