Kuwait power station hit in Iranian attack, fire damages units
Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy said one of its power generation and water desalination stations was struck in the ongoing Iranian aggression against Kuwait, causing a fire and damage to the facility, including several power generation units.
The ministry said firefighting teams brought the fire under control, while technical teams continue repair work and restore the affected units to service, with the electricity grid’s stability being closely monitored.
It called on citizens and residents to conserve electricity consumption during this exceptional period, and affirmed it will keep the public informed of developments through its official channels.

Bahrain says it intercepted new Iranian strikes on Friday
Bahrain’s Defence Force said Iran is continuing a systematic pattern of hostility through attacks targeting civilians in the kingdom.
It said its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed a number of Iranian strikes on Friday, July 17, and affirmed that all its forces remain at the highest level of readiness to defend the country.
The Defence Force urged the public to remain cautious and avoid approaching any strange or suspicious debris from the attack, reporting it immediately, and said the Royal Field Engineering Unit is fully ready to safely handle such material to ensure public safety.
It reiterated that deliberately using missiles and drones to target civilians and private property is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, and expressed pride in its forces’ readiness and vigilance in performing their national duty.

Jordan intercepts three Iranian missiles Friday morning
A military source at Jordan’s Armed Forces said its air defence systems intercepted and shot down three Iranian missiles that entered the country’s airspace on Friday morning, with no casualties or material damage reported.
Royal Engineering Corps teams handled fallen debris at several locations following approved technical and security protocols to secure the sites and ensure public safety.
The statement said Jordan’s Armed Forces remain on high alert, continuously monitoring the Kingdom’s airspace and closely following regional developments to respond to any potential threat under the approved rules of engagement.

Qatar: Child injured by shrapnel after Iranian attack
Qatar’s Ministry of Interior said security authorities and Civil Defense teams have activated their response plans following an Iranian attack on the country this morning.
Based on field reports, the ministry confirmed that one child was injured by falling shrapnel from interception operations and is receiving necessary medical care. It stressed the need to obtain information solely from official sources and avoid spreading rumors or unverified information, photos or videos to prevent legal liability.
The ministry said its security authorities remain fully ready around the clock, working to ensure a rapid response, preserve community security and safety, and maintain the normal flow of services.

CENTCOM completes sixth consecutive night of strikes on Iran
US Central Command said it completed its latest major wave of strikes on Iran at 9:40 p.m. ET, marking the sixth consecutive night of strikes.
It said US forces – including fighter jets, aerial drones and warships – launched precision munitions at dozens of Iranian military targets, including coastal surveillance and air defense sites, military logistics infrastructure, and maritime capabilities.
CENTCOM said the strikes, ordered by the Commander in Chief, are aimed at further degrading Iran’s military capabilities and holding it accountable for recent attacks on commercial shipping.
It noted that more than 50,000 US service members remain deployed across the Middle East, staying vigilant, lethal and ready.

CENTCOM strikes Iran for sixth straight night, boards tanker
US Central Command said US forces began a new wave of strikes on Iran at 2 p.m. ET, marking the sixth consecutive night of strikes aimed at further degrading Iranian military capabilities.
It said Marines from the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit conducted a verification boarding of the M/T Wen Yao in the Gulf of Oman on July 16.
CENTCOM said US forces have so far redirected three commercial vessels attempting to breach the blockade, disabled one that didn’t comply, and boarded one to ensure compliance, and said the Strait of Hormuz and surrounding waters remain open to all vessels except those trying to violate what it called America’s “steel wall” blockade on Iran.

Kuwait’s army said it has engaged and intercepted 32 hostile drones since early Thursday, Kuwait News Agency reported.
Ministry of Defence spokesman Col. Saud Al-Atwan said the Iranian aggression targeted several vital facilities in the country, causing material damage.

The office reaffirmed that the Reuters report on explosions in Downtown Dubai is “false”, and reiterated that the public and media should depend only on official sources for accurate information.
