Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced on Saturday that the country’s airspace had returned to normal operations following a temporary shutdown triggered by Iranian attacks.
Flights resumed at 6:15am Kuwait time, the authority said, after coordination with relevant agencies confirmed the situation had stabilised and the threat had passed.
During the closure, 11 flights operated by Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways were diverted to airports in neighbouring countries as a precautionary measure.
