Kuwait Airways has resumed full flight operations from Terminal 4 at Kuwait International Airport, the country’s General Civil Aviation Authority announced on Wednesday, after specialised technical teams completed damage assessments and confirmed the facility was safe to use.
The authority said the decision followed field inspections and technical evaluations carried out in coordination with relevant government agencies. It confirmed the resumption applies exclusively to Kuwait Airways services operating from Terminal 4, and advised passengers to contact the airline directly to verify flight schedules before travelling.
The restart comes after the authority suspended Terminal 4 operations and activated an emergency plan at the airport following an Iranian drone attack that struck Terminal One. The suspension was a precautionary measure while teams assessed structural damage and put in place the conditions needed for safe operations to continue.
The authority said passenger and staff safety remained its highest priority and committed to ongoing coordination with all relevant bodies to maintain uninterrupted operations in line with security and safety standards.
