Temperatures across the UAE are set to climb on Wednesday, with Abu Dhabi forecast to reach 40°C and Dubai 41°C, according to the National Centre of Meteorology. Nationwide, the range runs from 19°C to 43°C.
The highest reading recorded on Tuesday was 43.6°C at Al Gheweifat in the Al Dhafra Region, logged at 2.15pm.
Skies will be generally fair. Winds are expected to be light to moderate, blowing southwesterly to northwesterly at 10–25 kmph and gusting to 40 kmph at times, with blowing dust likely.
Sea conditions will be slight to moderate in the morning, turning rough by afternoon and very rough at times in the northern Arabian Gulf. The Sea of Oman will similarly deteriorate to rough by evening.
