flydubai has begun daily non-stop flights between Dubai International Airport and Aleppo International Airport, making Aleppo its second destination in Syria after Damascus.
The inaugural flight departed from Terminal 3 on July 20 and was met in Aleppo with a water cannon salute and a reception hosted by local authorities.
Economy Class Lite return fares start from AED 1,800 from Dubai and USD 470 from Aleppo; Business Class return fares start from AED 8,000 and USD 2,000 respectively.
“The commencement of our daily flights to Aleppo, a city of immense historical and commercial significance, strengthens our presence in Syria and reinforces our commitment to connecting Dubai with key markets in the region. Since introducing our Damascus service last year, we have witnessed strong demand for travel between the UAE and Syria. This new route reflects our long-term confidence in the Syrian market and our commitment to providing passengers with more flexible travel options, while contributing to the region’s economic and tourism development,” Hamad Obaidalla, flydubai’s Chief Commercial Officer said in a statement.

The route operates under flydubai’s codeshare with Emirates, giving passengers access to onward connections across both carriers’ networks on a single ticket with through-checked baggage. The airline currently operates three daily flights to Damascus.
Aleppo is Syria’s second-largest city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, historically significant as a trading centre on the Silk Road. Its landmarks include the Aleppo Citadel and the Al-Madina Souq, among the world’s largest covered markets.
The Aleppo service is the latest in a run of network additions for flydubai, which has recently launched flights to Bangkok and Benghazi and plans to begin services to Pokhara in Nepal from September 23, 2026.
