Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump, has revealed the logo for what will become President Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida.
“For the first time, I am extremely proud to share the OFFICIAL logo for the Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida. There is no person more deserving of this incredible honor than @realDonaldTrump ! Congratulations Dad! Looking forward to seeing flights landing at “DJT” very very soon,” he said via a post on X.
Palm Beach International Airport to be renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport on July 1
The logo features a golden eagle bearing a crest shield with stars and stripes, holding two olive branches. The words ‘President Donald J. Trump International Airport’ appear beneath the eagle, with 12 gold stars featured throughout the design.
On Tuesday, Palm Beach County commissioners approved both the logo and a trademark deal with President Trump and his intellectual property company. The agreement authorises the county to rename the airport in the president’s honour. Commissioners passed the deal by a vote of 4 to 3.
In March, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed legislation formally renaming Palm Beach International Airport after the president. The airport sits approximately four miles from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club, which he purchased in 1985 and visits regularly at weekends.
The law is set to take effect on July 1, 2026. In a statement issued the day after DeSantis signed the measure, Palm Beach International Airport noted that the legislation does not affect the airport’s existing three-letter code.
Republican Congressman Brian Mast of Florida introduced separate legislation in March to change the airport’s three-letter code to “DJT.” Mast referred the bill to the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on March 24, but no further action has been taken on it to date.
