Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is launching four new public bus routes on July 17, alongside modifications to a number of existing services, as part of its periodic review of the city’s bus network.
The changes are driven by transport demand studies and passenger mobility data, with the authority citing improved connectivity between residential, commercial, and service areas as the primary goal.
Two of the new routes serve the Silicon Oasis and Global Village corridor. Route 35 runs between Dubai Silicon Oasis and Global Village, operating every 30 minutes at peak times.
Routes A37 and B37 cover the same geography in opposing directions, both between Global Village and Dubai Silicon Oasis Lake, also at 30-minute peak intervals.
The fourth addition, Route 85, connects Al Qusais (Horse Gate) to Dubai Internet City Metro Station with a tighter 20-minute frequency during peak hours, offering a faster link between the eastern residential district and a major metro interchange.
The RTA said the broader aim is to strengthen integration across public transport modes and expand options for both residents and visitors.
