Spain beat Austria 3-0 in Los Angeles to advance to the last 16 of the 2026 World Cup. Mikel Oyarzabal scored twice and Pedro Porro added the other as Spain made comfortable progress through the round of 32.

Spain are through to the last 16 of the 2026 World Cup after a comfortable 3-0 win over Austria in the round of 32 at the Los Angeles stadium.
Mikel Oyarzabal opened the scoring in the 36th minute and Pedro Porro doubled the lead in the 66th. Oyarzabal added a third in the 89th to put the result beyond any doubt.
The tournament is being hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
