Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced a multiple-entry Umrah visa valid for one year from the date of issuance. Holders can enter the Kingdom as many times as they wish within that period, with total time inside the country capped at 90 days across all visits.
Each entry requires purchasing a service package through an approved provider on the Nusuk platform, with the package duration limited to the remaining days left on the visa. Travellers must also obtain an Umrah permit via the Nusuk app before arrival. The visa deactivates on departure and reactivates once regulatory requirements for the next visit are met.
One restriction applies to timing: the visa will not be activated during the Hajj season, which runs from the first of Dhu Al-Qi’dah to the 13th of Dhu Al-Hijjah.
The ministry said the visa is intended to give pilgrims more flexibility in planning visits and to support the integration of digital and operational services across the pilgrim journey. The move is framed as part of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program, both of which aim to increase the volume and quality of religious tourism to the Kingdom.
