A security source reported the downing of two drones in the Suhar Governorate in Oman. One drone came down in the Al Awahi Industrial Area, resulting in the death of two expatriates and a number of injuries, while the second landed in an open area with no casualties.
Competent authorities are handling both incidents and conducting investigations.
The relevant authorities commended the public for refraining from circulating photos and rumours, urging residents to obtain information only from official sources and assuring that all efforts are mobilised to protect the Sultanate and its people.
US President Donald J. Trump claimed the US is making sweeping gains against Iran across military and economic fronts, pushing back against media coverage he said was misrepresenting the situation.
“We are totally destroying the terrorist regime of Iran, militarily, economically, and otherwise,” Trump said, asserting that Iran’s navy and air force have been eliminated and that its missiles, drones and leadership have been decimated.
“We have unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition, and plenty of time,” he added. Trump also drew a personal parallel, noting that as the 47th president, he was acting against a regime he said had “been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years.” “What a great honor it is to do so!” he said via a post on Truth Social.
The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced that air defences have intercepted and destroyed 114 ballistic missiles and 190 drones targeting the kingdom since the onset of what it described as hostile terrorist Iranian aggression.
The General Command emphasised that the use of ballistic missiles and drones against civilian areas and private property constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter, describing the indiscriminate attacks as a direct threat to regional peace and security.
Six French soldiers were injured in a two-drone attack in Erbil in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The French Armed Forces General Staff said the soldiers were participating in counter-terrorism training with Iraqi partners and were immediately transferred to the nearest medical facility.
Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw said the two drones targeted a joint base of Peshmerga forces and French troops in the Makhmour district of Erbil province.
US Central Command announced the loss of a KC-135 refuelling aircraft in western Iraq during ongoing military operations against Iran, stating the crash was not the result of hostile or friendly fire.
Two aircraft were involved in the incident, with one going down in western Iraq while the other landed safely. Rescue efforts are currently under way.
Civil Defense teams responded to a limited fire in one of the warehouses in the Al Baraka Al Awamer area, bringing the incident under control with no injuries reported.

The UAE Ministry of Interior has issued a public safety alert confirming that the situation is currently safe.
Residents are advised that they may resume their normal daily activities while remaining cautious, taking necessary precautions, and continuing to follow official instructions.
Authorities confirmed that debris from a successful interception caused a minor incident on the façade of a building in central Dubai, with no injuries reported.
