The Palm Monorail is running again after a six-month suspension, restoring public transport access across Palm Jumeirah for residents and visitors.

The operator announced the reopening on social media. “We’re back on track. The Palm Monorail is open! Hop on and enjoy the ride across Palm Jumeirah,” the post read.

Services were halted in January for scheduled station maintenance, with passengers directed to taxis and other alternatives during the closure.

The elevated line spans 5.5km, running from Gateway Station at the entrance to Palm Jumeirah through to Atlantis Aquaventure. Stops along the route include Golden Mile Galleria, Al Ittihad Park and Palm Jumeirah Mall. A full end-to-end journey takes around nine minutes; consecutive stops are approximately three minutes apart.

On fares, a one-way ticket costs AED10 and a return is AED15. Family and unlimited travel passes are also available, with tickets purchasable online or through the monorail’s official booking channels.

Services from Gateway Station begin at 9am, with the last train at 9.45pm. Departures from Atlantis Aquaventure start at 9.15am and run until 10pm. Trains operate at 15-minute intervals throughout the week.
