Oil prices extended their gains on Wednesday, rising for a fourth consecutive session in early Asian trading as uncertainty over global supply kept markets on edge.
Brent crude futures climbed 26 cents, or 0.29%, to $91.28 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate futures added 37 cents to reach $85.31 per barrel.
Both contracts had settled at their highest levels since 24 July in Tuesday’s session, building on a run of gains that reflects persistent questions around supply.
