Norway have qualified for the round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after defeating Senegal 3–2 in their second Group 9 fixture.
Marcus Pedersen opened the scoring in the 43rd minute. Erling Haaland doubled the lead five minutes into the second half, before Ismaïla Sarr pulled one back for Senegal in the 53rd minute. Haaland restored the two-goal margin almost immediately, netting again in the 58th minute. Sarr added a second for Senegal in the third minute of second-half stoppage time, but it was not enough to change the result.
Norway move to six points, finishing second in Group 9 on goal difference behind France. Both sides advance to the knockout rounds. Senegal remain third in the group with no points from their two matches.
