Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, congratulated Egypt on its qualification for the FIFA World Cup round of 16 on Saturday.
Writing on his official X account, Sheikh Mansour addressed both the Egyptian leadership and the wider Arab world. “A thousand congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to the brotherly Egyptian people, and to the Arab nation on Egypt’s qualification to the round of 16 at the World Cup,” he wrote. “A heroic and deserved performance by the Pharaohs. All the best to them as they continue this honourable journey and bring joy to their fans and all Arabs.”
