Lucid Group has opened its first company-owned body and paint repair centre in the Middle East, located in Riyadh, adding specialist aftersales infrastructure to a Saudi Arabia operation that already spans studios, service centres, and a vehicle assembly plant.

The facility is built specifically for Lucid vehicles and combines dedicated body and paint environments with advanced diagnostic systems. Lucid-trained technicians will carry out repairs to the company’s own standards, covering safety, performance, and finish quality. It sits alongside existing studios and service centres in Riyadh and Jeddah, as well as a mobile service offering.

“Expanding our service capabilities in Saudi Arabia is an important step in delivering the quality and ownership experience our customers expect. Our sales and service teams play a critical role in shaping the Lucid experience, and this facility reinforces our long-term commitment to customers in the Kingdom,” Billy Hayes, Chief Customer Officer at Lucid said in a statement.

The opening comes as Lucid advances its broader Saudi presence. At its AMP-2 facility in King Abdullah Economic City, the company is transitioning from semi-knockdown assembly toward full vehicle manufacturing.

Lucid says it was the first global automotive manufacturer to join Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Made programme, and continues to develop local talent across customer service, technical, aftersales, and manufacturing functions. The company frames these investments as aligned with Vision 2030‘s goal of building a competitive domestic automotive and technology sector.
