Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence said its armed forces intercepted three ballistic missiles, one cruise missile, and ten hostile drones over Kuwaiti airspace at dawn on Thursday, in what the ministry described as Statement No. 69 from its official spokesman, Major General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi.

All projectiles and drones were successfully intercepted, the ministry said, though falling debris caused material damage across multiple locations in the country. One person was injured and is receiving medical care, with their condition described as stable.

A ground disposal unit from the Land Force Engineering handled multiple reports of interception remnants scattered across the country following the operation.

The ministry said the armed forces would continue operating “with efficiency and capability, within the framework of ongoing readiness and permanent preparedness, to enhance the security of the homeland and preserve the safety of citizens and residents.”
