Justin Bieber has been added to the halftime show lineup for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, joining a bill that already includes Madonna, Shakira and BTS. The show takes place on 19 July at New York/New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium and runs for 11 minutes.
FIFA and Global Citizen, the international movement focused on ending extreme poverty, made the announcement together. Nigerian artist Burna Boy will also perform, riding the momentum of his collaboration with Shakira on “Dadi Dadi.” Coldplay’s Chris Martin is serving as musical director for the event.
The halftime show is tied to a fundraising initiative targeting $100 million for expanded access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide. More than $50 million has already been raised, with one dollar from every World Cup match ticket sold going toward the goal.
Characters from Sesame Street and The Muppets are also confirmed to appear during the show.
