The Chainsmokers and The Script have been confirmed as the closing night performers at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026, taking the stage at Etihad Live on Sunday, 6 December as part of the Yasalam presented by e& entertainment programme.

The announcement adds the final race night headliners to a lineup that already includes Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson on Thursday, 3 December, and Imagine Dragons on Saturday, 5 December. More artists are still to be announced.

GRAMMY Award-winning duo The Chainsmokers, made up of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, have accumulated a catalogue of global hits across pop, electronic and alternative genres, including Closer, Paris, Don’t Let Me Down and Something Just Like This. The pair performed at the main stage at Tomorrowland earlier this year.

Joining them are Irish rock band The Script, the multi-platinum act behind Hall of Fame, Breakeven and The Man Who Can’t Be Moved. Their latest album, The User’s Guide To Being Human, is the band’s newest release in a career spanning close to two decades. The Script have recently played Co-op Live in Manchester and The O2 in London as part of their world tour.

“There is nothing quite like Sunday at the Yasalam After-Race Concerts. The excitement of the final race carries straight into Etihad Live, where thousands of fans come together for the F1 season finale celebration. The Chainsmokers have brought their incredible energy to stages across the globe including the main stage at Tomorrowland earlier this year, whilst The Script will bring their signature catalogue of songs which have sold out international arenas such as Co-op Live in Manchester and The O2 in London as part of their world tour. Together, they give fans two completely different live experiences and a brilliant finale to race week in Abu Dhabi,” David Powell, Chief Portfolio & Strategy Officer at Ethara Live said in a statement.

Access to the After-Race Concerts is exclusive to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders. Golden Circle upgrades are available for those wanting guaranteed concert access and closer proximity to the stage.
