Dubai Safari Park launches its eighth season on October 12 2026, and for the first time the park is marking the occasion with a structured opening week running through 18 October, timed to coincide with the schools’ mid-term break.

The “Wildest Opening Week” centres on a dedicated children’s space called “Little Explorers’ Base Camp”, offering safari face painting, clay model making, arts and crafts, lawn games, temporary tattoo stations and safari-themed inflatables.

The broader celebration is built around the season’s theme, Live More Wild Life, which the park says is designed to encourage visitors to connect with wildlife and nature.

Beyond the opening week, Season 8 carries the usual spread of experiences across the park’s six themed zones. The Arabian Desert Safari is included with all tickets, while a Safari Bundle upgrade gives access to the Explorer Safari Tour, which covers open-range habitats where lions, giraffes and rhinos roam. The park is also promoting several animals by name this season, among them Salam, a baby white rhino, and Dalia the giraffe.

Premium experiences include King of Safari, Behind the Scenes, Dine in the Wild and Jungle Capture, covering private tours, exclusive animal access and dining near enclosures. Live presentations, including Bird’s Kingdom, Echoes of the Wild and Birds of Prey, focus on animal behaviour and the park’s conservation programming.

Dubai Safari Park describes its three operating pillars as conservation, education and entertainment.
