Mohamed Alabbar has singled out Egyptian workers for praise, saying they are the reason Marassi ranks among the world’s best developments.
“I believe Marassi is number one in the world,” Alabbar said. “But Marassi was built by Egyptian craftsmen.”
Speaking in an Instagram video, the Emaar chairman credited teams working across construction, décor, hotel services, agriculture, landscaping, cooking and security with delivering the project to its current standard. He said workers trained in Egypt had taken on roles at every level of the operation.
“Their ability to learn gave us a project that is considered number one in the world,” he said.
Alabbar went further, framing Marassi as a direct demonstration of Egyptian workforce capability. He also thanked the development’s staff directly, saying their results were visible to anyone who visited.
Alabbar said Egyptian workers and staff had reached “ranks at the top of the world.”
