Mohamed Alabbar has revealed a glimpse into the preparations to organise New Year’s Eve celebrations in the Burj Khalifa area.
The Emirati businessman confirmed that planning is underway for the event, which will take place at one of Dubai’s tourism attractions.
“Behind the scenes of the biggest show of the year. Downtown Dubai,” Alabbar said in an Instagram post.

The show will feature live performances, visual displays, moving platforms, aerial performances, fireworks and technology elements. A parade will move through Downtown Dubai with floats, performers and puppets.
Alabbar had earlier stated that preparations were underway to deliver a show befitting Dubai’s position as a destination.
“Preparations are in full swing to deliver an exceptional show befitting Dubai’s global status,” the Emirati businessman said.
He noted that this year’s events will include segments and technologies for lighting and fireworks.
“This year’s events will feature distinctive segments and modern lighting and fireworks technologies to make the New Year celebrations a unique experience for visitors and residents,” Alabbar explained.
Burj Park ticketing and access
Burj Park will serve as a ticketed vantage point for the celebration. Visitors with tickets will have access to views of the Burj Khalifa fireworks, light and laser shows and live performances.
Burj Park has partnered with Frontstage, a group company of Red Chilies Entertainment, the production house founded by Shah Rukh Khan. Ticket holders at Burj Park will have access to performances and entertainment provided through this collaboration.
Families attending Burj Park will have access to live entertainment, children’s workshops and food trucks and stalls. Entry will be managed through pre-sized access badges.

Burj Park tickets are available for purchase through the official website.
Adult tickets cost AED950 plus VAT. Children aged 5 to 12 can attend for AED550 plus VAT. Entry for children under 5 is free, though a ticket must be reserved for their access badge.
All guests must purchase tickets online in advance.
