Mall of the Emirates has announced a calendar of festive experiences for December, targeting families, residents and tourists with theatre performances, Santa meet-and-greets and snow activities.
The shopping centre will host events throughout December, combining entertainment, seasonal decorations and shopping services in one location.
A Fairytale for Christmas runs until December 21 at New Covent Garden Theatre. The performance features costumes and staging inspired by holiday storytelling.
Ski Dubai Winter Wonderland returns with sensory-friendly sessions for Christmas 2025
Ski Dubai’s Winter Wonderland operates until December 25, offering families access to Christmas trees, North Pole mail stations and encounters with Santa and elves.
Magic Planet will host Santa’s Magical Toy Workshop for the first time, with activities and appearances by mascots Zack and Zia.
Ski Dubai has introduced Sensory-Friendly Sessions as part of Majid Al Futtaim’s Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy. The sessions feature softer sounds and trained staff to create an experience for people with determination.
The Meet Santa package offers a snow-based meet-and-greet experience. Visitors who book online by November 30 receive a 20 per cent discount for visits from December 1 to 12. Sensory-Friendly Sessions take place on December 15 at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Early bird tickets cost AED140, with standard tickets priced from AED160.

The Family Meets Santa package accommodates four people for AED 600. The Meet Santa & Snow Park package, priced at AED305, includes access to snow park rides and attractions.
The Meet Santa & Snow Fun package costs AED 345 and includes snow park access plus one ride on the Chairlift and Mountain Thriller.
Breakfast with Santa runs daily at 8:00 AM at North 28 until December 25. Children aged two and below pay AED80, while those aged two and above pay AED160. A Sensory-Friendly Session takes place on December 15 at 8:00 AM.
Rapunzel and Her Holiday Wish runs until December 24 at New Covent Garden Theatre. Lythgoe Family Productions, in partnership with New Covent Garden and Live Nation Middle East, presents the musical pantomime following ten years of performances in the United States.
The production features sets and songs from Taylor Swift and Stevie Wonder.
The Grotto Experience operates until December 25, offering letter-writing stations where children can write notes to Santa, a Merry Mailroom and Santa’s Grotto cabin.
Children hand over letters, take photos with Santa and receive a Christmas gift. Characters and elves Flossy and Sparkle provide challenges and surprises.
Whispering Winter Sessions offer a calmer environment for children with Special Educational Needs and those on the autistic spectrum, with softer sounds and limited capacity.
Child tickets cost AED165 plus VAT and fees. Adult tickets cost AED120 plus VAT and fees. Carers enter free.
THAT Concept Store operates a wrapping station where shoppers can have gifts from anywhere in the mall wrapped in seasonal finishes.
