Careem has announced a Ramadan campaign for its Quik service, offering grocery deliveries within 15 minutes and introducing a new cashback benefit for Careem Plus members in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The company said the service delivers fresh produce, pantry items and household essentials across both cities. It added that it works directly with UAE farms, with locally grown fruit and vegetables reaching Quik stores within 24 hours of harvest.
Careem stated that Quik has been designed to match customer shopping patterns during Ramadan. The campaign will begin with daily deals and a stock-up sale before the start of the month.
During Ramadan, the platform will run flash sales from 3pm to 5pm, offering discounts of up to 50 per cent. Customers will also have access to curated Suhoor and Iftar selections, gifting options including dates, chocolates and hampers, a limited-edition Ramadan journal exclusive to Careem, and recipe ideas with ingredients available through the app.
New Careem Plus cashback benefit announced
Careem Plus members will receive a new permanent benefit of 10 per cent unlimited cashback on Quik orders, capped at 10 orders per month. The cashback applies in addition to unlimited free delivery on all Quik orders.
To qualify, customers must meet a minimum order value of AED 100 in Dubai or AED 75 in Abu Dhabi. Cashback will be credited automatically to the Careem wallet after delivery.
Careem said Plus members save an average of AED 300, while active users can save up to AED 1,000. The company said the benefit reflects its approach to rewarding member loyalty across its platform.
Expansion of fast grocery delivery across UAE cities
Careem said Quik combines 15-minute delivery with a wide product range to serve grocery and household needs in the UAE.
Customers can access the service by opening the Careem app and selecting Quik from the home screen.
Careem said it is building an app that combines transport, food, grocery orders and payments across the Middle East. Since 2012, the company has provided earning opportunities for more than 3.5 million Captains and served more than 75 million customers. It operates in over 70 cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan.
