The Uncommon Club, a Dubai-based running and wellness community, has launched a weekly Saturday morning community run at Marasi Bay, in collaboration with OMNIYAT, the developer behind the Marasi Bay waterfront district.
The Marasi Bay Community Run takes place every Saturday, with participants meeting at 6:45 AM at The Lana Promenade – part of The Lana, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, developed by OMNIYAT – before setting off at 7 AM.
The 45-minute run follows an out-and-back route along the Dubai Canal. Registration is required, and the run is open to runners of all levels.

The event is structured around pace groups, each led by a pacer, so that participants can run at a level that suits them. The format is designed to be social rather than competitive, with the focus placed on community and consistency rather than performance.
“For us, the value has always been in showing up together. Marasi Bay has a sense of openness and calm that makes it easy for people to move with intention, connect naturally, and leave feeling reset,” Stephan Muller, Co-Founder of The Uncommon Club said in a statement.
After the run, participants gather at Bonbon Café by Angelo Musa at The Lana Promenade. The post-run gathering over coffee and conversation along the waterfront forms part of the overall experience, extending the morning and reinforcing the social dimension that The Uncommon Club has built its reputation on.
Marasi Bay is OMNIYAT’s vision for a waterfront district within Dubai’s Burj Khalifa District, set along the Dubai Canal. The district is being developed as a destination where wellness, hospitality, and culture intersect. It incorporates residences, workspaces, five-star hospitality, fine dining, and leisure and wellness experiences.
A defining feature of the district is its walkable waterfront environment, which connects Downtown Dubai with Dubai Design District. The promenade, landscaped pathways, and dedicated walking and cycling tracks are central to that vision, encouraging movement and time outdoors in a setting shaped by greenery, water, and views of the Dubai skyline.
The partnership with The Uncommon Club reflects how OMNIYAT sees Marasi Bay evolving – not only as a collection of buildings, but as a place built around the quality of life it can offer residents, workers, and visitors on a day-to-day basis.
