Dubai Holding has acquired the Jumeirah Mallorca hotel in Spain, adding to its portfolio of properties across more than 30 countries.
The investment company announced the purchase of the five-star hotel on Tuesday. Jumeirah, Dubai Holding’s hospitality brand, will continue to manage the property.
The hotel features 121 rooms and is located on the northwest coast of Mallorca. It offers views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, which has UNESCO World Heritage status.

The property holds LEED Platinum certification for its environmental performance and sustainability practices.
Dubai Holding plans to invest in the property with the aim of making it one of Jumeirah‘s destinations in the Mediterranean region.

Jumeirah Mallorca acquisition brings Dubai Holding portfolio to 34 hotels
The acquisition brings Dubai Holding Hospitality’s portfolio to 34 hotels and resorts. The company now owns five Jumeirah hotels across Europe.
Dubai Holding Hospitality’s portfolio includes Bvlgari Hotel Dubai, food and beverage operations, and Jumeirah, which operates 29 properties across locations worldwide.
The purchase supports Jumeirah’s strategy to expand in Europe’s leisure destinations. The brand operates properties in London and Capri and will open Jumeirah Le Richemond Geneva in Switzerland.
The company has stated its vision to become the world’s most influential hospitality brand through expansion in gateway cities and resort locations.
