Dubai-based content creator Alex Hirschi, known online as Supercar Blondie, has shared a detailed public statement calling it “the hardest year” of her life via Instagram.
In the post and a personal statement, Hirschi shared the breakdown of her marriage, ongoing health issues, professional arrangements with her former partner and her plans for the year ahead.
Hirschi wrote in the caption that she had posted a long message because “every word matters to me.”

She said her husband disclosed in April that he had been “cheating on me on and off for a very long time”.
“It was a normal day, until it wasn’t,” she wrote. Hirschi said she was at home when she received a call from her husband, describing it as “one of many we have every day”, before adding: “But this one was different. It blew up my entire world.”
She said the disclosure was unexpected. “Never in a million years did I think he could do this to me, and more importantly to us,” she wrote.
Hirschi said trust was central to the relationship. “For me I can not be in a relationship without trusting that person with my entire heart and soul, and I did,” she wrote, adding that she had “never questioned if he could be cheating”.
She said the moment altered her sense of reality. “In a split second my entire sense of reality was gone,” she wrote.
Hirschi described a physical response to the call. “My body shook with shock and I couldn’t comprehend what was being said,” she wrote, adding: “It was just another Friday, like any other, and then it wasn’t.”
She said the disclosure followed years of illness. “Earlier this year I had just started feeling healthy again after battling with an auto immune disease for years,” she wrote.
She said the situation affected her ability to work publicly. “I shut down. I couldn’t face the day and I certainly couldn’t face the camera,” she wrote.
Hirschi said she decided to step away from public life to focus on recovery. “I knew I needed to get away, tackle this incredible heartbreak and take time to heal on my own, away from the public,” she wrote.
She described the months that followed as “the hardest, most heartbreaking, emotionally draining time of my life”.
She said she questioned both the relationship and herself. “I questioned everything – was it all fake, was my life with him of 22 years all a lie,” she wrote.
Hirschi said she pursued therapy and self-healing. “I’m starting to feel somewhat normal again. It will still take time,” she wrote.
She said the relationship began when she was 17. “I thought we were lifers,” she wrote, adding that she believed they would grow old together.
Hirschi said she acknowledged her partner’s decision to be honest. “I give my partner credit for coming to me with this truth and for wanting to work on us, but ultimately I just couldn’t move forward,” she wrote.
She confirmed the couple have separated. “My husband and I have separated,” she wrote, adding that they will continue working together.
She said they have agreed to maintain their professional partnership. “We have found a way to continue working together to build this company,” she wrote.
Hirschi said the company employs 80 people globally. “We have built a team of 80 people around the world who share our vision,” she wrote.
She thanked her team, friends and family for support. “A massive thank you to my team for helping me get through this time,” she wrote, adding: “To my friends and family – I am so grateful for you.”
Hirschi concluded the statement by outlining her outlook for the coming year. “Now I’m ready for 2026,” she wrote. “I’m going into the new year with a new found positive energy and a focus on happiness,” she concluded.
