Emirates SkyCargo has introduced 40 Euro 6 trucks from MAN Trucks to its ground operations fleet in collaboration with Allied Transport Company, becoming the first operator in the region to deploy long-haul, heavy commercial Euro 6 vehicles.

The trucks feature engines that meet emissions standards, resulting in lower levels of pollutants compared to previous models. Emirates SkyCargo expects a 17 per cent reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from trucking operations following the replacement of 40 trucks with the Euro 6 models.

“The addition of the Euro 6 trucks to our fleet is an important evolution in our commitment to more sustainable operations, and to investing in future-ready technology that will fuel our next era of growth.
