Marjan Hospitality is undertaking major refurbishment programmes at two of its Ras Al Khaimah properties, with more than 600 rooms across Rixos Al Mairid and Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island set for comprehensive upgrades.
The announcements were made as the hospitality industry gathered in Dubai for Future Hospitality Summit World, where Marjan is an official partner.

Our aim is to ensure each property has a clear identity, meets the expectations of today’s guests and contributes to the overall quality of the destination. With new developments raising the bar across the emirate, it is an exciting time to continue investing in what we already have while creating something stronger for future generations,” Alison Grinnell, Group COO of Marjan and CEO of Marjan Hospitality said in a statement.
At Rixos Al Mairid, the main building rooms are being fully overhauled with a scheduled reopening in December 2026. The work is designed to push the property toward a premium positioning, introducing a new design direction, elevated furnishings and reworked layouts while preserving the hotel’s existing character.
The Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island refurbishment is more extensive. All 300 rooms are being redesigned under a new concept called Ocean Dusk and Dawn, which draws on the shifting light across the Arabian Sea and the textures of the Al Marjan Island coastline. The hotel is also transitioning to an adults-only format when it reopens in the second quarter of 2027.
Ras Al Khaimah’s hospitality sector is in an active development phase. Wynn Al Marjan Island is under construction on the island, and Marjan Hospitality recently added a new phase of accommodation at The Ritz-Carlton Residences Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert, comprising 35 standalone private villas within the 1,235-acre Al Wadi Nature Reserve.
