Uniestate, a Dubai-based boutique developer with more than 30 years of operating history in the UAE, has acquired a development plot on Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi, marking its first foothold in the capital’s property market.

The 3,000-square-metre site sits opposite Nord Anglia International School within the Najmat area and is earmarked for a premium residential community focused on family living.

The company describes the acquisition as part of a broader strategy to identify development and joint venture opportunities across the emirate, reflecting what it calls confidence in Abu Dhabi’s long-term growth trajectory.

The Abu Dhabi move comes alongside active project delivery elsewhere. Oasis Loft in Dubai Silicon Oasis is fully sold and scheduled for handover in Q4 2026.

Carmel Residence in Jumeirah Village Circle has entered the market and is expected to hand over later this summer. In Ras Al Khaimah, the company is continuing to sell Playa Viva, a waterfront residential development on Al Marjan Island positioned near the Wynn Resort.

“Our vast experience in the UAE has taught us the importance of balancing ambition with discipline. Today we’re seeing renewed confidence from buyers, brokers, and investors. Our response is simple: continue delivering projects, continue investing in growth, and continue creating ownership opportunities that make sense for today’s market. The UAE remains one of the most compelling real estate stories in the world, and we are excited about the role Uniestate continues to play,” Ebrahim AlZaabi, CEO of Uniestate said in a statement.
