Etihad is delivering nearly 45 per cent of the UAE’s total aviation growth this year, the airline said. The services support inbound tourism and trade whilst giving UAE residents and visitors access to destinations across Africa and Asia.

The routes provide connections to cultural landmarks, beaches, resorts and events in Abu Dhabi for travellers from the regions served by the flights.

The Tunis service operates three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays using an A321LR aircraft. Flight EY739 departs Abu Dhabi at 02:20 and arrives in Tunis at 06:20. The return flight EY740 leaves Tunis at 10:40 and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 19:25.

The route strengthens Etihad’s North African network and supports demand for travel between the UAE and Tunisia.

The Hanoi route operates six times per week using B787 aircraft. Flight EY430 departs Abu Dhabi at 09:05 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, arriving in Hanoi at 18:10. The return service EY431 leaves Hanoi at 20:00 and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 00:35 the next day.

Flight EY432 departs Abu Dhabi at 20:50 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving in Hanoi at 05:55 the following day. Flight EY433 leaves Hanoi at 07:40 on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Abu Dhabi at 12:15.

The service links Abu Dhabi directly to Vietnam’s capital for the first time, enhancing trade and tourism ties between the two nations.

The Chiang Mai service operates four times per week using an A321LR aircraft. Flight EY426 departs Abu Dhabi at 21:20 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving in Chiang Mai at 06:05. Flight EY427 leaves Chiang Mai at 08:50 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Abu Dhabi at 13:05.

The route opens Northern Thailand to travellers from the Middle East and Europe through Abu Dhabi. The Hong Kong route operates five times per week using B787 aircraft.

Flight EY870 departs Abu Dhabi at 21:15 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving in Hong Kong at 08:30. Flight EY871 leaves Hong Kong at 19:35 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, arriving in Abu Dhabi at 00:25 the next day.

The route reconnects Abu Dhabi with one of Asia’s business and leisure centres. Etihad has relaunched its codeshare with Hong Kong Airlines for connectivity across Asia.
