flydubai will hold its UAE National Careers Open Day on August 16 at the flydubai Campus, giving Emirati jobseekers a direct line to the airline’s recruitment and talent development teams.
The event is aimed at UAE nationals at various stages of their careers, from current students to recent graduates and early-career professionals.
Attendees can find out about the airline’s structured development programmes, ask questions about the industry, and connect with staff who oversee hiring and training.
Programmes on offer include an Engineering Apprentice Programme (AMEL), a Flight Dispatcher Programme, pilot training pathways covering Ab Initio and Second Officer tracks, and UAE National Graduate Programmes. There are also broader opportunities across operational and corporate functions.
“At flydubai, investing in people is fundamental to our continued growth. Our UAE National Careers Open Day provides aspiring Emirati students and professionals with the opportunity to learn about the diverse career pathways available across the organisation, as well as the structured development programmes that prepare them for successful careers in aviation. As we continue to grow our fleet and network, we remain committed to developing the next generation of UAE aviation professionals who will help shape the future of our airline,” Nasser Binkherbash, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at flydubai said in a statement.
The timing reflects the airline’s current expansion phase. flydubai currently operates 97 Boeing 737 aircraft across a network of more than 120 destinations in 58 countries, and has more than 300 aircraft on order, including 30 Boeing Dreamliners, 150 Airbus A321neos, and 75 Boeing 737 MAX jets expected over the next decade. The airline employs nearly 7,000 people, including around 2,000 pilots and engineers.
UAE nationals interested in attending must register between July 31 and August 15. Spaces are limited.
